What your AI can read

1. The address to give your AI

Add VisiPay to your AI as a connector or MCP server with this address. Your AI then opens the VisiPay sign in screen: sign in, enter the code VisiPay emails you (or the code from your authenticator app, if you set one up), and choose Allow. The Connect your AI page in Settings does it in one click for Claude, ChatGPT and Grok.

2. What your AI can read

• What's waiting on you: your Action Required list from the Dashboard, for each of your seats.
• Your projects and the state each one is in, under the seat you hold on it.
• A project as its page shows it to your seat, with the figures your seat reads.
• A project's scope lines, with the billed percent and the prices your seat reads. A Sub reads only its own lines.
• A project's pay applications and their status, and one pay application with its lines.
• What is on hold and why: each payee's paperwork readiness, and which release conditions a pay application has met and which it has not.
• Lien waivers and their status.
• Change orders and their status.
• The supplier invoices your company logged on a project.
• Your accounting export figures, for one project or one company, between two dates you name.

3. What your AI cannot do

• It reads only. It changes nothing in VisiPay.
• It can never fund, approve or release a payment, sign or stamp a lien waiver, submit a pay application or a scope, or accept a proposal.
• It can never change bank details, seats, invitations or company settings. Do those on the VisiPay screen.

4. It sees what you see, and never more

• Your AI is served exactly what your own screen is served. A figure hidden from your seat is hidden from it: a GC's AI never reads a Sub's supplier invoices, and an Owner's AI never reads a Sub's prices.
• It reads only projects where you hold an Owner, GC or Sub seat. A lender or inspector seat is never read.
• A project you hold for a company that turned AI connections off is not read, even though you see it on your screen.

5. Who sees your AI's requests

• Each request your AI makes is recorded on the audit record with your name, the AI's name and what it read.
• Your own company reads those records in Settings, under Your company's AI activity. No other company does.

6. If your AI says VisiPay refused it

• Asked to sign in again: the connection ended. It ends when you disconnect it, change your password, lose your last seat, or when its sign in runs out. Connect again from your AI.
• Told a project is not one it can read: the project is not one of your Owner, GC or Sub seats at a company that allows AI connections.
• Told there are too many requests: wait a little and ask again.
